Bill Gray drives out to his ranch in Crowley County, Colo. on June 1, 2016 for a branding. During the day, Gray and a handful of friends and family will wrangle, brand, vaccinate and tag 260 calves. Ranchers in the area rely on each other to help with brandings, which are also a social event in the rural county.
